Enable it for a conservative 7 day history, with options to extend it to 30 days.

I have to imagine it's a system-wide setting, and is probably not enabled by default because it'd probably apply to all default windows tasks (Expand Microsoft | Windows to see them all)....wonder how much disk space/cpu/disk writes that adds to a standard system

Looks like its 7 days by default.
