Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

I plan to use this lib as a main Queue system for my company (medium size 5y running). It looks really good and neat, and we would like to use it but the https://github.com/hibiken/asynq#stability-and-compatibility suggests that may not be "production ready" yet.

I was wondering if there is any Roadmap or planning on when the v1 (major) would be released.

Describe the solution you'd like

Roadmap or prediction on v1 release.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Not many, basically wait for v1

Additional context

I'm using https://github.com/benmanns/goworker for now as I had past experience with Resque and we don't plan to use https://github.com/contribsys/faktory because of the "Free limitations" that it has.

There are few more things I want to work on before releasing the v1.0.
Let me compile a doc for the roadmap to v1 within the next week and share it here 👍

@xescugc I've created a project/milestone for v1.0.

There are three major work items I want to see completed before we release v1.

Adding support for workflows #244
Internal enhancement (json -> protobuf) #245
Tooling improvements #246

The first two items are fairly large change, and I expect there'll be some breaking changes.
Please let me know if you have thoughts on any of these items!

I'll be doing some research and designing on the first two items soon.
