I have never had a problem updating up until yesterday. I have no clue what is wrong but this is what it looks like when I run the update:
root@myserver:/var/www/anonaddy# git fetch --tags root@myserver:/var/www/anonaddy# tag=$(git describe --tagsgit rev-list --tags --max-count=1`)root@myserver:/var/www/anonaddy# echo $tag
v0.10.0
root@myserver:/var/www/anonaddy# git checkout --force $tag -b $tag
warning: refname 'v0.10.0' is ambiguous.
fatal: A branch named 'v0.10.0' already exists.
root@myserver:/var/www/anonaddy# composer install --prefer-dist --no-dev -o

Do you really wish to run this command? (yes/no) [no]:
In Connection.php line 712:

In Connector.php line 70:

I am running composer as root but I ran it as a regular user and that didn't work ether(just so everyone knows). Affter that everthing can run smoothly. Thanks to eveyone who helps and I hope we can fix this.
@willbrowningme commented on GitHub (Feb 22, 2022):
What version of php version are you running (type
php -v)?The
could not find drivererror looks like you don't have the mysql php extension installed either. You can confirm by runningphp -mand checking to see ifmysqliis in the list.@jon-bit commented on GitHub (Feb 22, 2022):
OK so now the database migration is working (so thank you for that) but the other errors still persist. Any ideas?
@jon-bit commented on GitHub (Feb 22, 2022):
OH and I'm running 8.1.
@willbrowningme commented on GitHub (Feb 22, 2022):
What version of composer are you running? Check with
composer -V@jon-bit commented on GitHub (Feb 22, 2022):
Composer version 2.1.2
@willbrowningme commented on GitHub (Feb 22, 2022):
Okay, can you please try removing the entire vendor folder by running
rm -rf vendorand also the composer.lock file by runningrm composer.lockand then try again by running:@jon-bit commented on GitHub (Feb 23, 2022):
I'm still getting the errors BUT I did upgrade to 0.10.0. Does that mean it's working and I can ignore the errors or something else?
@willbrowningme commented on GitHub (Feb 24, 2022):
If everything appears to be working then I would say it's okay. I think it could be something to do with the fact you are running these commands as the root user (this is not recommended for composer).
In future you should run them as the user you created that owns the
/var/ww/anonaddydirectory.
