When using the Send Mail function to send emails from an alias address with something like
dsf098d+<user>=<domain>.<tld>@addy.ioThe email received reveals the true email address of the sender. It also seems to confuse sender and recipient. I open the alias I want to send mail from, hit 'send mail' and enter the address I want to send mail to. The mail that is received is from the the 'TO' address and the recipient is the account that is meant to be the sender.
It's very confusing.
The main issue though is that this feature appears to reveal the senders true email address which defeats the purpose of using aliases.
Am I missing something? Please help :)

Please make sure you are sending from an email that is listed as a verified recipient on your account - https://addy.io/faq/#im-trying-to-reply-send-from-an-alias-but-the-email-keeps-coming-back-to-me-whats-wrong.
Otherwise the message will be treated as a normal "forward" and arrive at your own recipient as if sent by someone else.
If you believe you are doing the above and it still doesn't work then please send me an email - https://addy.io/contact/.
