Delete branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

The comment on version 1.3.0 states that it is not backwards compatible and requires a clean install. Does that mean tags and other metadata that aren't embedded in the files themselves are lost during migrations?
