Describe feature
when I was doing https://github.com/redhat-actions/push-to-registry/issues/62#issuecomment-1056805859, I found the repo doesn't have buildah..
how can I make this a reality?
@robertkowalski commented on GitHub (Mar 21, 2022):
the default docker image for act is
buster-slim, while buildah is available for debian bullseye only. you could also try to switch to the ubuntu 20.04 image used by redhat in their examples. you can define custom images like that:given the case you use "ubuntu-latest" in your jobs config within your workflow
then given buildah is not in the
ubuntu:act-20.04, install it with apt according to the instructions on the "buildah" github.@ZauberNerd commented on GitHub (Mar 21, 2022):
Thanks @robertkowalski
@georgettica please also take a look at the Runners section in our readme about the images that we provide for act.
