Feature description
I'm stuck with a machine without sudo access and had to look up how to run
actwith a non-standard docker socket and finally found it but it took longer than it should have. I wonder why this very useful tool was released under such a generic undescriptive name.@ChristopherHX commented on GitHub (Sep 26, 2024):
This is actually true, terms
nektos, nektos actandact cliare working much better an list this repo as 1. entry.I'm working on another tool for a very similar usecase, but a fundermentally different approuch. That name is long enough to be found in search engines except the dotnet tool name that is just like act a failure for search engines.
However given act's popularity and I'm not an owner a rename is a chaos.
