Description

The "continue watching" PiP little window with the video where you left it off shows the translated and not the original title. This happens on the home page and the preview features a "P" icon; not quite sure that's because it's a YouTube Premium feature.

Steps to Reproduce (if you noticed a specific pattern)

  1. Open any video and close it before it finishes.
  2. Go to the YouTube page.
  3. The little "PiP" preview that invites you to continue watching the video shows the translated title.

Environment

  • Browser: Chrome 138.0.7204.184
  • Extension Version: 2.10.12
  • OS: macOS Sequoia 15.6
  • YouTube Language: Latin American Spanish
  • YouTube Account: Logged in with a YouTube Premium account

Extension Settings

  • Title translation prevention
  • Description translation prevention
  • Audio language preference (default)
  • Subtitles language preference
  • YouTube Data API v3

Screenshot

Image The video shown in the PiP window is [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RpeegJ0J5mE) Note that it's a video in English, and when clicking it, the title shows up correctly with no translation.

HTML Code (for the title shown in the screenshot)

<h1 class="ytdMiniplayerInfoBarTitle"><span class="yt-core-attributed-string yt-core-attributed-string--ellipsis-truncate" role="text">Speak &amp; Spell: ¿el primer juego para PC?</span></h1>
