Description

The extension freezes the youtube tab completely forever. I have to copy the url and open it in a new tab to fix it. Usually this only happens once, but it has happened twice in a row a few times. This only happens on video pages; not all of them tho. Id say it happens on maybe ~60% or so.

Steps to Reproduce (if you noticed a specific pattern)

Go to youtube, click on any video. Doesnt matter if its from front page to video or video to video.
Page appears to load but then randomly stops and is completely frozen.

Environment

Browser: Firefox 148
Extension Version: 2.20.1
OS: Windows 11 25H2 26200.7840
YouTube Language: US English
YouTube Account: Happens both logged in (on all accounts) and logged out.

Nothing concrete, as it happens on any random video. But heres one where it happened just a few minutes ago.

Disabling the extension does not fix it. Only completely removing it stops it from happening. Personally, its nothing really "game" breaking, just an annoyance

Note: For all extensions here, i already tried disabling/removing all of them so YouTube No Translation was the only extension installed. No change!

uBlock Origin, HyperChat, Return YouTube Dislike, YouTube Nonstop, Tampermonkey (no scripts installed), Windscribe, SponsorBlock.

This is very annoying.
I've never had this issue on my side, or maybe once can't tell.
Do you maybe have a "low" powerful machine? That's the only thing I can think of., since not many people have complain about this.
Either way, yes, this is probably the extension not being well optimized. I'll try to bring some improvements in the next few days.
