Description

While this extension is active, scrolling through the comment section or opening the emoji menu causes lag to the YouTube live streaming and the webpage itself.
User Language is Japanese but the same issue occurs on English streams as well.

Steps to Reproduce (if you noticed a specific pattern)

  1. Activate extension
  2. Open any YouTube live
  3. Open the emoji menu
  4. While scrolling, emoji loads slower than usual and causes the chat/stream itself to lag, occasionally breaks the tab and forces reloading.

Environment

  • Browser: Chrome 143.0.7499.193
  • Extension Version: 2.20.0
  • OS: Windows 11 Pro 24H2
  • YouTube Language: Japanese
  • YouTube Account: Logged in

Example Video (Required if the issue happened on a video page)

Video URL: https://youtu.be/6q49qAwsUpM

Extension Settings

  • Original Titles
  • Audio tracks - Original
  • Original Descrptions
  • Original Thumbnails
  • Subtitles - Always Disabled
  • YouTube Data API v3 - Off

Screenshots (Optional)

Additional Context (Optional)

Happens on any stream language.
Lag could be caused by the extension trying to un-translate the emojis? idk
