When you play a video for the first time, the translated description is displayed, you need to reload the page for it to work.

I don't have this issue. Do you have any other extension related to YouTube installed ?
Some of them can cause conflicts (PocketTube for exemple). Try to disable them just to see if you're still having the issue.

Only Enhancer for YouTube. I'll try disabling it and report back

You don't need to. I use this one too and no problems with it.

This is what i see the first time i start a video:

And this after reloading the page:

I tried deleting browser cache and cookies with no success.
I'm using Edge and the updated 2.0.55 version btw.

I have a similar issue but with audio, half of times I have to refresh the page. But if fixed, this extension will become a must-have.

Fixed in v2.0.65, it was because of the extension's name change, forgot to update some things.

Also changed the description observer, your initial issue should also be fixed in v2.0.65.
