DX513 enabled but not recognized

After DSM update the script needs to run once (either via SSH or a scheduled task) and then you need to reboot.

Dave - thank you
I have 2 1821+ units. The one I posted about did not see the DX513 drives at all after reboot
The second does - but it sees only 3 of them. In this one I have not updated to the latest OS. This unit runs 7.2.2-72806

The info center does not show the DX513

Here is the script I run

Is this the same DX513 that you moved between the two DS1821+ to test it?
The fact that they're both not seeing all the drives would suggest that the DX517 power supply may be dying.

You said that 1 DS1821+ does not see the DX517. And the 2nd DS1821+ only sees 3 of the drives.
Have you tried the other eSATA port?
@digitalnomadas1 commented on GitHub (Jan 3, 2025):
I did
Ended up getting a 517 and will use the 513 with my 1817+
Thank you for a great hack
