Hello,
I'm thinking to purchase this:
https://www.amazon.it/dp/B0CN22TFTG?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1
the one of 500GB
I would like to use it as SSD Cache. I have a DS925+
is this compatible?
Thanks in advance

The SanDisk Extreme NVMe is a rebranded WD Black SN770 (since WD bought SanDisk). My WD Black SN770 500GB NVMe drives used to show in storage manager as WD Black_SN770 but after a recent DSM update they now show as Sandisk Black_SN770.
The maximum read speed I can get in my DS1821+ (which has the same CPU as the DS925+) is 1300 MB/s. See https://github.com/007revad/Synology_Information_Wiki/blob/main/pages/NVMe-speed.md
Personally I'd use WD Red NVMe drives for a cache.
And you'll need https://github.com/007revad/Synology_HDD_db to add your non-Synology NVMe drives to DSM's compatible drive database before storage manager will let you use non-Synology NVMe drives as a cache or a volume.

I have followed this https://github.com/007revad/Synology_M2_volume/issues/216#issuecomment-3913858398 and now I'm able to handle it directly from DS GUI.
thanks!
