My Synology NAS DS920+ was out of space so I bought one WD Red Pro 18TB and one 20TB for upgrading the storage but I found out they were not supported by Synology after bought. When I tried to create a storage pool, it showed that my HDDs were not supported and it failed to create it.
After that, I followed the steps here and the error notice message for using non-supported HDDs disappeared. But still, I kept fail to create a new storage pool.
I am wondering if there are any reasons behind this? I saw that some of you reporting that it is still blocked by Synology after the version 7.3.3, but any extra steps can I work with to make them useable?
I am currently running DSM 7.3.2-86009 Update 1 in DS920+
Appreciate if any one can help.

Check if the new HDDs are okay with https://github.com/007revad/Synology_SMART_info
If they are okay run a full SMART test on both new HDDs.
