I ran syno_hdd_db.sh from the command line with the following results

HDD/SSD models found: 4
HAT5300-16T,1403,16000 GB
ST16000NM000J-2TW103,SN02,16000 GB
ST16000NM000J-2TW103,SN04,16000 GB
ST16000NM000J-2TW103,SN06,16000 GB

M.2 drive models found: 1
WD Red SN700 2000GB,112000WD,2000 GB

M.2 PCIe card models found: 1
E10M20-T1

Expansion Unit models found: 1
RX1217rp

HAT5300-16T (1403) already exists in rs2421rp+_host_v7.db
HAT5300-16T (1403) already exists in rx1217rp_v7.db
ST16000NM000J-2TW103 (SN02) already exists in rs2421rp+_host_v7.db

WD Red SN700 2000GB (112000WD) already exists in rs2421rp+_e10m20-t1_v7.db

E10M20-T1 NIC already enabled for RS2421rp+
E10M20-T1 NVMe already enabled for RS2421rp+
E10M20-T1 already exists in model.dtb

Support disk compatibility already enabled.

Support memory compatibility already enabled.

NVMe support already enabled.

M.2 volume support already enabled.

Disabled drive db auto updates.

Creating pool in UI on drives in M.2 adaptor card already enabled.

DSM successfully checked disk compatibility.

Yet the drives on the rx1217rp still remain incompatible despite the fact that drives with the same model and firmware version work fine on the main system. I have checked the db files for host and expansion and both contain the correct drive name with the correct firmware versions. Reboot did not resolve the issue.
