[Bug Report]
Problem
the full song is not being downloaded
Type
downloading albums
Additional Context
ive noticed it with bohemian rhaspody by queen on the album "a night at the opera (delux remasted version)"
but the problem is even worse in the album by avicii "TIM", several songs in the album are limited to 30 seconds long
Environment
Version 25H2
Installed on 12/15/2025
OS build 26200.7840
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.291.0
@the-V01D commented on GitHub (Feb 25, 2026):
I should note, that the 30-second thing isnt limited to those songs by avicii, it is also in alot of other albums, but this one by avcii was the first one i noticed
@the-V01D commented on GitHub (Feb 25, 2026):
so it does seem like this is an issue with tital,
i do have a suggestion to fix this, maybe if the song length doesnt match with the time in the metadata within 5-10 seconds then it will move onto another source, if it cant find another source then it will download it anyway with a warning next to the song.

dupe of #537
@afkarxyz commented on GitHub (Feb 25, 2026):
If you select 24-bit quality in Tidal, dropouts are common, often lasting only 30 seconds, because this quality uses dash/streaming in chunks.
