Today, spotiFLAC started behaving unexpectedly. When I download using Tidal as the primary source, the audio file is correct, but the metadata is no longer being populated.
However, when I switch to Qobuz or Amazon, the metadata is filled in correctly, but the audio file is wrong. In most cases, it downloads a different song by the same artist.
This issue occurs with any song, album, or playlist - I’ve tested several different ones. What makes this particularly strange is that everything was working perfectly until two days ago (I was using Tidal as the default source).
I’m wondering if this could be related to the recent changes to the Spotify APIs.
Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?
@PericlesCarvalho commented on GitHub (Feb 18, 2026):
I have no idea why, but it's working fine now with Tidal.
