It's not a bug. I did indeed make it so that ffmpeg must be installed separately rather than being detected from the system.

Just saw this. I think it would be totally acceptable to optionally letting the user use an already downloaded ffmpeg.

I am trying to package SpotiFLAC for Nix, it would be really handy to have it optional to recognize FFmpeg

Any chance of allowing the user to use an already present ffmpeg? I'm running into an issue where the ffmpeg download continuously fails in the app and being able to download it elsewhere and use that would be very nice
