Currently, FFmpeg version 7.0.1 (2024-05-26) is available for download on gyan.dev. However, ScreenToGif on the Extras tab of the Options window only offers options v4, v5 and v6.

Yes, need supports for FFMpeg v7, because some options is deprecated/broken in v7 and encoding crashing...

@panther7 Can you share the crash data?

If you press the window button on the right, and then check the last part of the error message, you'll see why it failed to compile.

@Korb I added the v7 option there on the options window, but in my tests I could not find an option that was deprecated, so all encoding presets work.

(Besides the mov/mp4 for Twitter/X, we must select Vsync = Constant to work)
