Please add dark theme!
@cmdrflexo commented on GitHub (Oct 10, 2018):
This would be a great feature and I am sure many would agree! :D
@vatterspun commented on GitHub (Oct 16, 2018):
Good suggestion. My understanding is that real power savings from AMOLED screens are already here for most phones but a few years away for standard screens and laptops. Still, it's a nice thing to have when most of your other programs are using dark / gray skins.
@vatterspun commented on GitHub (Jan 16, 2019):
One other note here: as more and more programs themselves have a "dark" mode, it increasingly means that screen recording programs to avoid some intense contrast between screens. Sort of a weird consequence of the slow move from plain gray to black on Windows over the years.
I will say that Camtasia has a dark mode enabled by default so I guess that's normal now?
@NickeManarin commented on GitHub (Sep 27, 2019):
Oh, I forgot to close this issue!
There's now 4 themes, including a very dark option, with low contrast.
