Great program! Especially with most keyboard shortcuts available (disabled have to use voice)
I cannot seem to figure out and did not find in the manual how to hide the dialogue after the countdown
to start is done. Is there a keyboard shortcut for this?
Thanks
@NickeManarin commented on GitHub (Oct 27, 2017):
Thank you :)
I'm sorry, I didn't understand which dialogue that you are referring to.
Do you mean to hide the recorder window? If so, that window is "top most", it was designed to stay on top of everything else, there's no way to hide it before finishing the recording.
@EskelCz commented on GitHub (Jan 2, 2018):
Unfortunately this decision clashes with the fullscreen recording feature. I did not find a way to record whole screen and not have the recorder window hidden.
@EskelCz commented on GitHub (Jan 2, 2018):
I take it back, the 'new recorder UI' option fixes this for me, it's possible to move it to a different monitor. Might still be an issue for people with single monitor.
@EskelCz commented on GitHub (Jan 2, 2018):
Again I'm stuck, the new UI breaks with fullscreen even worse. It let me click a window (or monitor ?) to record, then disapeared and I can't find a way change the selection. ESC just closes the recorder and it remembers the choice. I can only reinstall or look for another app to do this. :(
@NickeManarin commented on GitHub (Jan 2, 2018):
@EskelCz you can open Options > Temporary files and click on the little X to delete the current settings.
I agree that the UX for the full screen recording isn't optimal. I need to fix this.
@NickeManarin commented on GitHub (Nov 13, 2019):
The new recorder has improved since this issue was open. And with the next version of the app, v2.20, there's another bug fix waiting. #551
