Changing the position will create a second progressbar...

Why are progressbar etc. applied at all?
Could they not be kept in it's own layer until the final rendering?
Then it would be possible to change or remove them.

They are all applied on top of the images because this app still don't support multi layers.
Multi layer support will be the next big thing to implement on this software.
