I would like to update this for f-droid to the version that is shown on the playmarket, but I can't find the right commit nor a tag

f-droid is a FOSS android market alternative app. The main repo is at f-droid.org which hosts apps built from source, mostly. Anybody can host their own repos: if you would like users that dont use playmarket to get notified of new apks you should take a look.
