Hi guys!
This might not be the right place to ask, but I’ll give it a try anyway.
I’m looking for a way to downgrade the firmware from any version to RM520NGLAAR01A06M4G. For example, if I order a module from AliExpress and it comes with firmware version RM520NGLAAR03A03M4G, I need to downgrade it to RM520NGLAAR01A06M4G. Unfortunately, simply flashing the device with the older version doesn’t work—the modem won’t connect to the carrier’s network =( The official manual from Quectel also states that downgrading is not possible. However, there are services in my country that charge $40 to fully unlock and downgrade the firmware, and it works for them. For obvious reasons, though, they don’t share their flashing method.
If anyone knows how to do this, I’d greatly appreciate it if you could help and share the process =)
Thank you all in advance!

My module had the R01A06 firmware when I bought it. Before upgrading I did a backup of all flash partitions with edl. Even when flashed with the latest firmware I can downgrade to R01A06 by restoring the efs2 partition from backup.
