adding an option for starting the client at a specified date or after specified days after deployment would be used for many legit purposes. By this the client will not run when it is not needed for some time

sorry but i can't find any importance with this feature
why someone needs to open a file it could be inactive for days (as you have mentioned)
do you want to send a zombie or a client 😆 !!??
