it's expected behavior. If you close the main Windows, the Proxy Server is closed too. So, the Scripting is disabled.

Is there any way to keep Proxy Server open when I close the Proxyman window (without quitting Proxyman)?

I use Proxyman change requests of my App and I want it just run in background.

Sorry, this feature is not implemented yet. For now, you can just minimize the app. It will work fine 👍

I also use Proxyman to modify requests and don't want to keep the Proxyman main window open.

We can start recording traffic via the macOS menu bar icon when Proxyman's main window is closed, so why not make it possible to modify requests as well?

Consider implementing this, it would be very useful. 🤩

@NghiaTranUIT
you should definitely prioritize for this feature. the proxy server should be able to run when active in the menu bar.

@sercanarga may I ask: You would like to close the main windows, and keep the scripting running right? (Proxyman is still in the Dock and System Menu bar)

Or you'd like to run Proxyman without the Dock, no main windows, only System menu bar. 🤔

@NghiaTranUIT
Thank you very much for your interest. I think it would be good if when I open the proxy in the menu bar, everything works properly even if the main window is completely closed. After the main window is closed, it should not appear in the Dockbar, only in the menu bar.

This would be great for people like me who have to change the way some applications work. With a proxy service running only in the background when I restart the computer, I can make sure that programs are responding the way I want them to.

In the meantime, I'll buy a few pro copies at my first available time. I don't want to leave your interest unrequited. :)
