Description
Proxyman helpfully indicates if it's helper tool is not enabled in Login Items - however, when going to the Login items to enable it, Proxyman does not appear in the list. It's possible that it is incorrectly identified in this list.
Steps to Reproduce
Proxyman's helpful warning:
Open System Preferences, Login Items. Proxyman should be displayed in the list.
Current Behavior
Proxyman is not in the list of login items.
Expected Behavior
Proxyman should be in the list of startup items.
Environment
@NghiaTranUIT commented on GitHub (May 3, 2023):
Please enable the
TablePlus Inc, which is Proxyman.The reason is: the macOS system doesn't clear the old name of the Helper Tool. If you remove the helper Tool, and reinstall again -> It will show Proxyman with proper App Icon 👍
@NghiaTranUIT commented on GitHub (May 3, 2023):
The "TablePlus Inc" name doesn't affect how Proxyman Helper works.
However, if you;d like to fix it:
I could not find a better solution to request the macOS to clear the Login Items cache 😿
@rennarda commented on GitHub (May 3, 2023):
Thanks - I missed that footer text!
@NghiaTranUIT commented on GitHub (May 3, 2023):
Sorry, it's not your fault. I've added the color, so make it's noticeable 👍
