When trying to recognize service call patterns, it would be nice to be able to group or color code (potentially with notes) the individual lines in the proxy history.
@NghiaTranUIT commented on GitHub (Jun 7, 2019):
I'm not sure that do you mean regarding "Service Call Pattern" @jason-edstrom . Do you mean that the user is able to add notes, colors, to individual flow, so you can filter out quickly ?
It would be great if you elaborate what real scenario is when we use this feature 🤔
@jason-edstrom commented on GitHub (Jun 7, 2019):
When I'm doing a debug, there are calls that happen in rapid succession that are part of the same action. Example: Arming my car alarm from my viper app produces 3 http events as part of the request. The initial command, the status in progress call and the final status call. It would be nice to select one or multiple rows and color the text/row so I can visually find them quickly.
The notes part is just a side benefit to being able to take notes on what you are noticing along the process in reference to a specific call.
