Description
Allow specifying URL patterns that will only get proxied by Proxyman. (All the rest should not be tracked or recorded)
Why this feature/change is important?
What pushes me back with Proxyman is that you cannot opt in and just proxy URL patterns that you are interested in.
I'd like to mostly proxy by domain/subdomain and leave all the rest of the traffic out of Proxyman processing, keeping proxyman view less cluttered.
Also, it could help when I click on the clear/trash button, it would just clean all the traffic I am interested in. As of right now, it clears everything, causing also to drop my connections with Slack/Zoom/Around, etc. I am often using Proxyman while on a streaming session and it makes them ... well... interrupted.
@NghiaTranUIT commented on GitHub (Feb 16, 2023):
Hey, by default, Proxyman overrides the system HTTP Proxy, so all traffic will go through Proxyman.
To bypass it for some domains, you can open the System Setting -> WIfi -> Your hotspot -> Detail… -> Proxies Tab -> Enter a list of bypass proxy domains. Then, it's never captured by Proxyman and fix your problem 👍
@wedkarz commented on GitHub (Feb 16, 2023):
Thanks, it is a helpful trick. However, it is again opt-out.
Even if the traffic goes through a proxy, it could ignore domains, not opted-in.

Thanks, I understand what you request.
However, I'd keep this ticket open, so I can get more similar request. If it's feasible, we will implement it 👍
@wedkarz commented on GitHub (Feb 17, 2023):
Yep. Understood. Thanks for your feedback!

This feature is built-in in the app: https://github.com/ProxymanApp/Proxyman/issues/1617#issuecomment-1532596711
