Description

The error condition "CLI returns with error code. Please contact us at support@proxyman.io" is raised when attempting to Install & Trust the Proxyman CA Certificate

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Install Proxyman
  2. Select the Preferences Menu Item
  3. On the General Tab, select the "Generate New..." button
  4. Select the "Install & trust" button
  5. The error condition will be raised

Current Behavior

Proxyman Error - CLI.pdf

Expected Behavior

The certificate should be installed successfully.

Environment

  • App version: e.g Proxyman 3.15.0
  • macOS version: macOS Monterey version 12.6

@gordianknot007 from your log, it seems the file ~/.proxyman/proxyman-openssl.cnf could not be generated during generating the certificate.

If you don't mind, please go to Help Menu -> Advanced -> Factory Reset.

It might fix your issue.

If it doens't work again, let's use this Beta build: https://proxyman.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/beta/Proxyman_3.15.0_Fix_invalid_path_when_generating_the_Certificate.dmg

I discover that there is a bug if your User Name has a space / special characters.
