✍️ Description

During installation I encountered persistent errors that took several days to diagnose, which ultimately turned out to be caused by the VM disk running out of space. The helper script currently provisions an 8GB disk by default, which is insufficient for a typical Pterodactyl Wings setup running multiple servers.

While low disk space may not be considered a “normal” installation scenario, the lack of a clear error message makes this failure mode difficult to identify. Increasing the default disk size to 40GB reduces the likelihood of silent failures and provides a more realistic baseline for real-world usage.
