Describe the bug
I'm using playcover nightly (558) on sonoma 14.1.2 to play jkchess, and if ask for permission in mac os device when try to run our build in playcover, will get failed and ask for premission many times, but running sideloadly in mac with enterprise sign, will be okay, looks something wrong with playcover, could you give me a hint of how to fix it?
Steps to reproduce
Download ipa file, install in playcover, and uninstall playtool, then, select 开始游戏 -> 标准匹配 -> 开始游戏，click to open 房间语音 & 房间麦克风, see what went wrong.
Expected behaviour
The permission request is run once, and permission granted, and no longer to ask microphone permission.

It looks like playcover will pretend it as an ipad, ban us from detecting it as a mac platform, even uninstalled playtool. Please remove such fake operation because thus our effort of fix on mac platform will go in vain.

That's weird. As far as I know, if playtools is removed, playcover has no way to affect your app's runtime behaviour. I guess it's something else that lets your app detect an ipad?

Nope, such as resolution settings, if installed and uninstall playtool, will also remain changed and differ from native resolution. You may download a sideloadly ( https://sideloadly.io ), install com.tencent.jkchess and give it a try, we've tested that in this way, jkchess will run as what we see internally.

I think that may be a consequence of how playcover installation works? Basically playcover replaces the load commands of executable files and add a
MacCatalystload command so that it can be recognized as iOS app on Mac. That may have changed how the OS handles many aspects of the app.However, if this is the cause of that you detected as iPad, it's very unlikely anything could be done on the playcover side, because that is the core reason why playcover doesn't need to re-sign the app every 7 days. You may have to find other ways to detect the real device model. This is not an intentional faking operation taken, but a side-effect of how playcover basically works.
Edit: I was thinking about it and there is a possibility, that playcover can fake as the actual device. This requires a modification to the settings page to add an option, that sets the faked device as the actual one, and corresponding code to get the actual device model. This is technically not difficult, but I'm not sure if anyone is free enough to get it done.

So technically I cannot get the real device model (running on mac) for playcover env, and if possible is there anything I can do to detect the game is running under playcover? Or, you may add an option to fake devicemodel as a mac device, this will also do.
Such as, generally you may fake your device model as iPad8,5. Please consider to fake "MacBookPro18,1" and other mac device models as an option.

没有，也不需要，2024春节版本，该功能将内置。不过注意，我们对此不会有任何公告，亦不会有任何说明，更不会有任何按键操作设置之类的功能，你可以理解为给mac平台开个后门。
主键盘1-5：购买棋子（长按：显示棋子详情但不购买）
F：购买经验
D：刷新商店
S：显示/隐藏商店（针对手机的商店布局。如果是电脑/模拟器/iPad布局无效）
X：锁定/解锁商店
目前的强音对决版本如果需要快捷键支持请暂时先使用PlayTools来做键盘-UI映射。

I had the same issue with Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail, it doesn't require microphone access but this time when i updated to Sonoma it asks for permission to access Microphone.

已经解决，分辨率调整即可 ，不过选择 ipad 机型，游戏内手机适配依然有问题，聊天框被挡着，棋子靠近右边
@Coresi7 这种情况是配置问题还是本身就没有适配，所有的按键都错开了，没办法进行游戏
