Describe the bug
Although the game can be opened and played normally, it will crash when performing certain operations in the game. For example, opening a “Party Setup”, "Character", "Wish" will cause a crash.
This only happens in PlayCover version 2.0.5. After I downgraded to PlayCover version 2.0.4, the problem was temporarily resolved.
The current game version is 3.4.0. My OS version is macOS Ventura 13.2.1. The device is a MacBook Pro with Apple M1 Max.
Steps to reproduce
Open the game and enter “Party Setup”, "Character", "Wish". Then the game will crash.
Expected behaviour
It should work normally just like before.

This is the same crash we've been observing. It appears that the Genshin Impact rendering engine cannot handle more than 1GB of VRAM where it will just crash
In 2.0.5 we applied a fix for the blurry image in 2.0.4 which increase rendering resolution by 2x, this is causing users with high output resolution settings to go over 1GB of VRAM and crash.
For now, set the resolution to half of your target
@simon300000 commented on GitHub (Mar 23, 2023):
3.5.0 seems to work with large resolution 🤔

@simon300000 Try open any of the menus and see if it generates a crash
@simon300000 commented on GitHub (Mar 23, 2023):
it does 😿 , with character menu

Turn down your res in App Settings
