Do you use the "Disable Display Sleep" feature in PlayCover (that will actually prevents the machine from sleeping at all)?
@sheaahhoi1 commented on GitHub (Sep 25, 2022):
not use the "Disable Display Sleep"
@IsaacMarovitz commented on GitHub (Sep 26, 2022):
We can't guarantee that games will work correctly while your Mac sleeps. During sleep, your Mac will restrict available system resources to preserve power. This behaviour may not align with what apps expect on iOS and might lead to crashes.
