  • Game does not work with keymapping
  • Game experiences graphical issues or broken UI
  • Game fails to connect to servers or complete download

More details

When I try to restore my progress using the Cloud Sync function from Real Racing 3, I need to login with Facebook, which the app will have a popup where it saids To log in with Facebook and play with friends, please enable Tracking in your Apple iOS settings. Logging in to Facebook or an alternate authentication method will allow you to participate in multiplayer game modes and backup your save to the EA cloud when you play on different devices. But how do I enable Tracking in PlayCover?

Does this really prompt a crash though?

For starters, follow these instructions to login. See if it still prompts you to enable tracking.

You could try toggling the Real Racing 3 app in some of the categories under System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy, but I don't think there exists an equivalent option for tracking in macOS.

I have tried to toggle the only settings where Real Racing 3 has which is Location Services, however it doesn't work. I have also tried to toggle all the settings under Analytics & Improvements, however it also doesn't work

If none of the toggles work, there isn’t really anything we can do to solve it.

You should try an alternative login method other than Facebook.

Facebook requires you to disable tracking due to predatory marketing practices. Other methods shouldn’t require that.

The other method is Sign in with Apple, however after I click it, it will display a prompt of

Compete in Time Shifted Multiplayer with other players around the world,
compete with Race Teams, and backup your save to the Cloud. If you connect
using Sign in with Apple, your race results and the name you use for your
Apple ID will be visible to other players.

Where only a continue button is showed, after I clicked it, nothing happens

The app might be trying to redirect you to a browser instance. Is Safari set as your main browser?

As far as I know the App Tracking Transparency framework is not available on macOS and defaults to being disabled for all apps (Similar to if you turn off the switch in Settings on an iOS device)
This is a limitation in Apple's iOS Support implementation. Not sure if we can work out a way to make it appears enabled to the app.
