Describe the bug

Hi everyone,

I really need your help with a very frustrating issue I'm facing with PlayCover and Genshin Impact.

OS: macOS 26 (Tahoe) / Latest Beta

PlayCover Version: 3.0.0 Beta 2 (and tried Nightly 3.1.0)

Game: Genshin Impact

The Issue: I cannot open the Keymapping Editor manually using Cmd + K (or Ctrl + K) inside Genshin Impact. When I press the shortcut, absolutely nothing happens—the overlay just doesn't appear.

The Weird Part (Important): I initially thought my PlayCover or macOS permission was broken, BUT I tested it on other games (specifically Mobile Legends: Bang Bang), and the Keymapping Editor (Cmd + K) works perfectly fine!

So, the permission is granted, and the shortcut is correct. It seems this issue is isolated specifically to Genshin Impact on my machine.

What I've tried:

Checking Input Monitoring permissions (Deleted and Re-added PlayCover).

Changing the App Category to public.app-category.games.

Injecting PlayTools.

Has anyone else experienced this specific bug where Keymapping works for other apps but fails for Genshin?

If you know a fix or are facing the same situation, please leave a comment below. I'm desperate to get back to Teyvat! 😭

Thanks in advance for any help!

Steps to reproduce

"As of now, I still haven't found any way to fix this error."

Expected behaviour

I am earnestly looking for specific instructions or a step-by-step guide on how to resolve this. If you have any workaround or know exactly what needs to be done to make the Keymapping Editor appear again, please guide me. I really need a concrete solution right now.

You tried nightly or 3.1.0? 3.0.0 beta 2 is old, now the official is 3.1.0 and the keymapping issue should be fixed in the Nightly that you can find on the website (it change every day so if you downloaded it 2 month ago is different from today)

Use nightly builds. This issue is fixed in those.
