More details

When I followed the steps to try to get login working on Minecraft, I got no sign-in window, and I got the 'Drowned' error code. Though the game works fine, I can't seem to sign in.

macOS Version: Tahoe (macOS 26)

Minecraft doesn't work via PlayCover. iirc the fix for it breaks every other game

But do you know of a fix for it? I'd be willing to compile PlayCover/PlayTools myself for it to work. I have a completely legal copy of Minecraft preview which Mojang themselves distribute on the Internet Archive.

I tried signing in on the iOS version of Minecraft Education Edition but it didn't work. Maybe it's to do with ASWebAuthenticationSession. Only with an older version of MCBE did the sign-in window, but crashed on sign-in.
