Describe the bug

Dear PlayCover Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I'm writing to report a persistent issue I’ve encountered: the "Parameter Invalid" error. I’ve thoroughly followed all the troubleshooting steps provided on your official website, as well as additional suggestions from users who experienced the same problem. Unfortunately, none of these solutions have resolved the issue.

Brief Summary of the Problem:

Error message: "Parameter Invalid. Please Try Again"

When it occurs: Whenever I try to log into my Account (I haven't played for some time so I need to log in again)

Steps I’ve already tried:

I've deleted Passkeys related to the Game, tried all possible Terminal codes, downloaded the new version of Play Cover and Genshin Impact

Despite these efforts, the problem persists. I would really appreciate further assistance in resolving this, as it's currently preventing me from accessing my account and playing the game.

If needed, I’m happy to provide screenshots, logs, or any other information that could help troubleshoot the issue.

Steps to reproduce

Open the Genshin Impact launcher and click Game Start.
Enter my login credentials (email and password).
Click Log In.
The message "Parameter Invalid. Please try again." appears.
No matter how many times I re-enter the correct information, the same error repeats and I cannot access my account.

I have already tried all suggested troubleshooting methods listed on the official website, in the Discord server, and in various user forums — including reinstalling the launcher, clearing cache, trying different devices and networks, resetting my password, and ensuring there are no typos. The issue persists across all attempts.

Expected behaviour

After entering the correct login credentials and clicking Log In, I should be successfully signed into my Genshin Impact account and redirected to the game without receiving any error messages.

Crash log

No crash logs were generated. The game does not crash — it simply returns the "Parameter Invalid. Please try again." message on the login screen without proceeding further.

What version of PlayCover are you using?

3.1.0

What version of macOS are you using?

Sonoma (macOS 14)
