Describe the bug

After the update today (July 2, 2025), Honkai Star Rail crashes immediately after logging in, before entering the game. The application quits unexpectedly.

Steps to reproduce

Launch PlayCover.

Open Honkai Star Rail.

The game crashes before the main game screen loads.

Expected behaviour

The game should launch successfully after logging in, allowing me to enter the game.

I have already attempted the following troubleshooting steps without success:

Reinstalling Honkai Star Rail.

Re-downloading containers within PlayCover.

update PlayCover to nightly 1159

I've found a workaround that resolves the crash issue after logging in: blocking the domain globaldp-prod-cn01.bhsr.com.

This can be achieved by modifying your system's hosts file or by configuring a proxy tool to block or redirect this specific domain.
