I have a premium account and a clean XP machine. I installed Java 8u151 and the latest version of VLC. I'll start by saying that I couldn't install the program correctly. When I open "NTify.jar," it simply copies itself to Application Data and doesn't create an icon. I was able to force it to launch by adding the --setup-complete parameter. I also had to install the One Core API, otherwise nothing would run. Then I logged into my account. I tried both zeroconf and the browser. The main window opened. I noticed that the settings weren't saving at all. I changed the skin, changed the proxy, but it didn't save anything. After a restart, everything reset. But most importantly, the music doesn't play. Here's what it says:
I tried it both with and without a VPN, and turned on a proxy. Nothing helps.

Please send me your system specs as well as the newest log under %AppData%/NTify/logs.
For AESKeyException it means that spotify rejected to give out a decryption key for the song you requested. This usually only happens for non premium users.

Yes, I read the previous issues. But I have a premium account.

I suggest waiting a little bit. This happened in the past to someone: See https://github.com/librespot-org/librespot-java/issues/694
@werwolf2303 commented on GitHub (Feb 18, 2026):
it's working fine for me

I was able to solve my problem! First, I restored my old Spotify account and subscription (people complained that problems occur with new accounts). Then I tried running the program on Linux, and it worked right away. I transferred the credentials file to my XP machine, and it works correctly there too. Now I can listen to Spotify on good old XP. Thank you very much for your work!
