Hi,
I wanted to run an app depending on the CarPlay connection. When the app is installed natively it allows to open it and set it to a standbymode when connected to CarPlay via automation.
Since there's no shortcuts integration with the LiveContainer app (which I guess is not possible at all) it would be cool if there's an URL scheme or similar to kill an app which is currently running within LiveContainer - if it's possible.
@khanhduytran0 commented on GitHub (Oct 26, 2025):
I don’t think CarPlay allows running shortcut/URL onscreen.
I’d say multitask mode is more suited for CarPlay.
