I don't understand why #754 was closed. I followed the recommended instructions on the README and the advice about logging out and back in and have supported hardware and OS. My setup seems quite "vanilla" to me, and I haven't experienced this problem sideloading other apps.

With all that in mind, this seems like a legitimate bug, so closing it immediately with zero explanation or response to follow-ups doesn't make sense to me.

I've already explained to you. You need to re-sign in to built in sidestore and refresh all apps.

You didn't say refresh the apps in the built in SideStore.

In any case. I've just done everything from scratch

  1. wiped SideStore, deleted certificate from profile management
  2. re-sideloaded vanilla SideStore from a computer
  3. set it up with a new pairing file
  4. refreshed it (with Stos VPN on ofc)
  5. sideloaded LC+SS combo through vanilla SS
  6. opened the inbuilt SS, gave it all the permissions it wanted
  7. selected the pairing file when prompted
  8. hit Refresh All
  9. clicked OK when it asked to revoke certificate
  10. entered login credentials and after ~ a minute-long wait got the following error:
Image

SideStore could not determine this device's udid

That did not happen when I refreshed in vanilla SS.
