Describe the issue
Youtube’s max resolution is fixed at 1080p, even in videos with a higher resolution.
Normal youtube:

YTLite+ on LiveContainer (note that it’s the same video):

I also checked on a different youtube app (that I can’t remember the name) and the issue persists.
Instructions to reproduce
Install a youtube .ipa, go to a high-quality video and check the resolution.
What version of LiveContainer are you using?
3.4.0 Release
Other
Note: this is a normal youtube feature for older ipads, it limits their max resolution, but this is just horrible.

This is not a LiveContainer problem, for example, you can try YouTubePlus.

Can you give me a link? I tried both with YtLitePlus and uYou+, and none worked. Is there maybe a LiveContainer setting I should change?
@0xA18 commented on GitHub (Apr 24, 2025):
Fixed. I had to enable VP9 in YouTube's deafult settings.
