Describe the bug

After adding an app to the home screen via app clip and opening it, it first opens one app with the title and icon of the app, and then, as expected, it opens the app in live container. But, the original windows never gets closed, and even after closing the live container app, it still doesn't close. Also, going back in the already open app clip "launcher," it'll still behave as normal and open the app again.

Instructions to reproduce

Add app to homepage with app clip
Open it
View open apps to see both the original and live container apps

What version of LiveContainer are you using?

3.1.0

@hugeBlack commented on GitHub (Dec 30, 2024):

That's a problem with App Clip. It will remain in the app switcher unless you manually close it and there's no way to get around. If you want a better way to launch app, create a shortcut with the launch URL.
