@michael1900 commented on GitHub (Dec 15, 2024):
You need to install last version 3.1.0 here: https://github.com/hugeBlack/LiveContainer/actions
@ajotaops commented on GitHub (Dec 15, 2024):
Thanks! I don't see that "releases" are outdated.
@ajotaops commented on GitHub (Dec 15, 2024):
I install 3.1.0 and later install Whatsapp or Watusi and continue crashing when I go to chats, any idea? Thanks.
@hugeBlack commented on GitHub (Dec 15, 2024):
Please send a crash report in ios settings. Unfortunately I don't have an account so I cannot test for you.
@michael1900 commented on GitHub (Dec 16, 2024):
Please send the crash report or it will be impossible to fix this
@MalcDryyy commented on GitHub (Dec 16, 2024):
You need to install a specific version of whatsui that is supported by appcontainer, i do use it perfectly fine with no crashing issue with this version Whatsapp watsui 25.19.80 try it and tell me if it's good for u too
@ajotaops commented on GitHub (Dec 20, 2024):
Hi @MalcDryyy ! Can you send me where to download that IPA from? I have tried several versions but none of them work for me and I can't find the one you mention, thank you.
@MalcDryyy commented on GitHub (Dec 21, 2024):
@ajotaops I installed it a while ago but try this one it should work it's the same version as mine working properly since LiveContainer 3.0
https://ipaomtk.com/whatsapp-ipa/download/0/
(NEW LINK) Old one was not working properly, i managed to get whatsapp work on LC 3.0
Try previous build or on 3.1 I didn't tested yet
@hugeBlack commented on GitHub (Jan 11, 2025):
Well, after investigating the log, WhatsApp seems to kept trying activating CallKit at a very high frequency, which finally cause
exec resourceafter max try. I'll look into this issue soon.Update: it's because
voipis missing fromInfo.plist'sUIBackgroundModes. This will be fixed in next build@hugeBlack commented on GitHub (Jan 11, 2025):
It's fixed, please try latest build in https://github.com/hugeBlack/LiveContainer/actions
@adaniel52 commented on GitHub (Apr 1, 2025):
Is this still usable?
I got a crash after scanning the qr code in link as companion device
@MalcDryyy commented on GitHub (Apr 1, 2025):
Donwnload the lastest Watsui from OMTK website, download the lastest version of LiveContainer and when you install Watsui just go to the settings of the app in LiveContainer and select "Fix Black Screen" + "Fix local notifications"
Work just fine for me since the lastest release of LiveContainer no crash and even got notifications some times.
@adaniel52 commented on GitHub (Apr 1, 2025):
Unfortunately, the crash still happens
LiveContainer version: 3.3.51-release (main/a8a740c)
Watusi omtk version: 25.7.77
@MalcDryyy commented on GitHub (Apr 1, 2025):
Download Watsui v25.3.80 from und3fined, work all fine
@adaniel52 commented on GitHub (Apr 1, 2025):
Well there is some progress, however im stuck with this error now
Lemme recheck to see if this is my networking issue
Edit: seems like a server-sided issue due to the outdated ipa file
@MalcDryyy commented on GitHub (Apr 1, 2025):
Try to get a newer version of whatsui or original whatsapp, their crash has been fixed with new Live Container Versions
@adaniel52 commented on GitHub (Apr 1, 2025):
Ngl i feel like giving up rn, I’ll just sideload through sidestore for now. Thanks in advance
