Describe the bug
Duolingo worked in the evening (November 18th) and the next day it gave this particular error.
Not sure what I means, I tried reinstalling it within Live Container but same error occurred;
Instructions to reproduce
What version of LiveContainer are you using?
3.0.0
Other info
No response

This error message generally means that the signature of duolingo is invalid. If you are not using the latest build, You may need to renew jitless cert, or turn off IgnoreAltCertificate.p12. I would recommend to update to the latest build.
If you are using the latest build i.e. 5d43a31, then please refresh apps in your Store.
@Okabeh commented on GitHub (Nov 20, 2024):
Thanks, it works! I have one slightly other question (thought I'd ask here instead of opening another thread);
The apps within Live Container keeps resetting all settings every other day. I'm not sure why this is happening. I already have the IgnoreAltCertificate.p12 turned on to avoid re-logging continuously (the accounts stay logged in but all settings are back to default) but this keeps happening.
Do you perhaps have an idea as to why this happens?
@hugeBlack commented on GitHub (Nov 20, 2024):
Can‘t confirm. I have not experienced my apps in LiveContainer losing their configs. Are you using google apps like Google Drive? If so, they have sideload detection and will automatically logout when restart.
@Okabeh commented on GitHub (Nov 20, 2024):
Mostly with Apollo and Instagram
@hugeBlack commented on GitHub (Nov 22, 2024):
Then this should be a bug then, I might need to alter my NSUserDefaults handling code to solve this, maybe in next build.
@hugeBlack commented on GitHub (Nov 25, 2024):
Can you try this build and see whether Duolingo stays logged in between launches?
@Okabeh commented on GitHub (Nov 26, 2024):
Alrights, I have just installed it. Will let you know in a few days
@Okabeh commented on GitHub (Nov 28, 2024):
The change works, it doesn’t log me out anymore. However, it also somehow disables certain features of apps within Live Container (which previously worked fine). Such as Apollo’s “new highlight commenter” and HomeWorkOut premium is removed).
When I switch back to the previous built (3.0.0) of Live Container both features do work again.
@hugeBlack commented on GitHub (Nov 28, 2024):
Can you provide the link to download Apollo? I downloaded one from https://balackburn.github.io/Apollo/ and I can’t sign in. Also, enabling the “new highlight commenter” feature will just crash the app, even if it is side loaded with AltStore. What’s more, I didn’t managed to find where HomeWorkOut is.
Forgive me since I rarely use Reddit.
@Okabeh commented on GitHub (Nov 28, 2024):
No worries, I’m already happy that you made Live Container and are willing to solve issues.
I have that one as well (BalackBurn) and on version 1.1.7B. Due to Reddits API change, people will have to create a developer account within Reddit and use that personal API to access Apollo (otherwise it won’t work and you won’t be able to login). If you did that and you are unable to login in, I honestly have no idea what the issue could be to that. Apologies.
The crash after enabling highlight commenter is normal. After the crash, if you go back to the highlight commenter option. It should be enabled and working.
HomeWorkOuts, I got it from a repo that’s within AltList PWA; https://s0n1c.ca/altlist/. Tab the gear icon (upright) and bit down below there will be recommendations and the AppTester repo will be there.
@hugeBlack commented on GitHub (Nov 28, 2024):
Thank you for your feedback, please try this new build. "New comment highlightifier" now works. HomeWorkOuts stopped asking me to buy premium after the second launch, so I guess the tweak worked too.
Note that I updated the patch version so all apps will need to be signed again. I'm not sure if all apps are still working with the new patch so please try with all your apps and give me feedback. YouTubeDislikeReturn stopped working again AFAIK but other apps I have whether tweaked or not worked correctly.
@Okabeh commented on GitHub (Nov 28, 2024):
Downloaded and installed it. So far all apps are working (including Apollo and the HomeWorkOut app).
I'll use it for a few days and let you know how it goes.
@Okabeh commented on GitHub (Dec 1, 2024):
All apps that were already installed are working fine. No issues regarding features or login. Thank you for solving it!
However, I’m not sure whether it has to do with the changes but I found two new bugs/issues.
The first one is about apps that asks whether you want to get notifications. It won’t allow you to continue. This happens with apps such as Drops (also a language app) and Clarity (a mindful app).
The other one is with AngryBirdsReloaded, the app keeps crashing after opening.
Apologies for continuously coming with new things. Take your time and thanks for Live Container and its features!
@hugeBlack commented on GitHub (Dec 16, 2024):
Local notification fix is now available in 3.1.0. I don't know where you found the AngryBirdsReloaded ipa, but the one on ipaomtk is a bad ipa that won't even launch in TrollStore.
