So you can open apps inside LiveContainer from a shortcut. It would allow opening apps from the Home Screen for example.

Im not sure if this is the right place for requesting a feature though

Yes, you can launch apps with shortcut. You can do it by:

  • long press app icon
  • Add to Home Screen
  • Copy Launch Url, Save App Icon
  • So to shortcut app, add an "open" action and input the url you copied
  • Share -> Add to Home Screen -> select the icon you saved or whatever icon you want

Unfortunately, this process cannot be automated since Apple doesn't provide a way to directly add shortcut icon to Home Screen from 3rd-party apps.

I understand that isn't possible to a app to set a icon, maybe the user could do so, and a shortcut integration would make it easier to do and discover so, in my opinion

Can’t confirm. The launch url worked fine for me. Make sure you are using the latest version.

To be exact, it tried to install a configuration profile, but it was missing a label parameter. I had no ways to copy the launch url
