This issue is coming after seeing and reading #1153 .
I’ve been trying for about a half hour now to do as suggested to create a link that will open in live container 2, but nothing works.
Not [livecontainer2://livecontainer-launch?bundle-name=redacted] nothing I can do will make it open in anything but LiveContainer 1 as a link, and trying in a shortcut gives me a swift error for changing anything.
I have an app I cannot convert to shared (need to access its files) and would love stuff like my video streaming apps to just open in LC2.
@hugeBlack commented on GitHub (Feb 20, 2026):
just use the open urls action. The launch app shortcut is designed to automatically dispatch apps in all free LiveContainers.
@hugeBlack commented on GitHub (Feb 20, 2026):
In 3.7.0 you can add the container as an external container so you can manage its files in your file manager while keeping it as a shared app.

Can you explain how? I created a url from LC2 and it still opened in the main LC.
