Hi, we don't get the csgo Servers started anymore.
The errormessage is in the attachment.
we are using Debian 7.5 wheezy and your script v 050214

We gave it a try installing everything new - we have the problem since january or so...was no time for investigating...
Any idea?

Seems as if I can't parse the image, so here is part of the screen:

./srcds_run: 32: ./srcds_run: pushd: not found
./srcds_run: 35: ./srcds_run: popd: not found
Server will auto-restart if there is a crash.
Using breakpad crash handler
[S_API FAIL] SteamAPI_Init() failed; SteamAPI_IsSteamRunning() failed.
[S_API FAIL] SteamAPI_Init() failed; unable to locate a running instance of Steam, or a local steamclient.dll.
Segmentation fault
Add "-debug" to the ./srcds_run command line to generate a debug.log to help with solving this problem
Sa 17. Mai 18:03:09 CEST 2014: Server restart in 10 seconds

With the following workaround the Server starts:
Downloading and installing the serverfiles from valve, rename the installationfolder to 'serverfiles' and use the 'csgoserver' script as before.
So, is it possible, that there is a mistake (wrong path or something) during the installationprocess?
It worked before and I can reproduce the mistake. Anyone else?

I did what you did and I still cant get my server to run. It keeps restarting every 10 seconds because of this error: S_API FAIL] SteamAPI_Init() failed; SteamAPI_IsSteamRunning() failed.
[S_API FAIL] SteamAPI_Init() failed; unable to locate a running instance of Steam, or a local steamclient.dll.
Funny thing is that it says cant locate steamclient.dll...... but Linux uses .so files.

Just an ETA. I have a laptop on order but will not arrive for another 1-2 weeks. As soon as I have this setup I will be looking at this. Only have a smart phone currently :/

Looking at this is appears you tried to install in a non standard location. This should work (I just tried it) however it looks like something went very wrong in our case. I am unable to replicate this to see what the issue is. My guess is that you have not updated the directory's in the script so it knows the new locations
