Hello,
I have recognized that sometimes the logfile isn't up to date.
This often occurs when I restart my server.
I open the logfile and see that the last line only contains the half. When I open the server in console mode and press enter the missing part is shown in the console and appears in the console.
I think it is an issue related to tmux.
@dgibbs64 commented on GitHub (Jan 15, 2014):
I think you are right. I will investigate to see if there is a work around in tmux
@dgibbs64 commented on GitHub (Jan 22, 2014):
I have investigated this and I cannot find a way around this. I'm afraid there is nothing I can do about this. However, if anyone does find a way around this please let me know.
@H3llGhost commented on GitHub (Jan 23, 2014):
I haven't found anything either otherwise I had provided some more details.
But why do you use tmux? I didn't really understand the need of it.
@dgibbs64 commented on GitHub (Jan 23, 2014):
the console feature does not work in screen. I tried for hours with no luck. Tmux is a newer more updated version of screen. Screen has not been updated since 2006 so is no longer in development
@H3llGhost commented on GitHub (Jan 23, 2014):
Hum ... Detaching doesn't work with screen?
Which version did you study? I had a look on my server it is using 1.3.2 and 1.8 is available on SF.
Perhaps this can help:

@dgibbs64 commented on GitHub (Jan 23, 2014):
Screen detach has issues is you are running as a standard user and come across many permissions issues.
tmux 1.8 is the latest stable version however distros will use different versions. The issue may be resolved in 1.8. However I will use the version that the various distros uses. I mainly use CentOS 6. You are welcome to compile 1.8 for your own distro maybe that might resolve it
